We will begin by exploring effective techniques for debris disposal, followed by an in-depth look at proper composting methods and the advantages of composting on-site. Additionally, we will examine how no-tillage principles contribute to enhancing soil health and how cover crops play a vital role in recycling nutrients back into the soil. A significant focus will be placed on legumes, which are instrumental in fixing nitrogen. Finally, we will highlight the importance of soil testing following the harvest, underscoring how it can inform future planting decisions and improve overall soil fertility.
